Job Description
SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

The scheduling coordinator is responsible for completing the the schedule for the office daily, scheduling any outside procedures, and coordinating with staff and patients’ day. The scheduling coordinator is responsible for ensuring that each day runs smoothly for the patients and center.

Responsibilities include:
Schedules all patient appointments including doctors’ visits, therapies and medical treatments on a daily basis.
Distributing individual patient and clinic schedules daily.
Ensures that the prescribed treatment plan is followed and scheduled for the patient.

Responsible for notifying and coordinating all treatments with patients, therapists, nursing & other staff throughout the day each day. Communicating with therapists, doctors, nurses and patients on daily basis is the most important aspect of this position.
Schedule appointments for outside procedures to include: PORTs, PICC Line, PET/Ct, Blood or Platelet Transfusion, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, etc

Miscellaneous Office Duties:
Assists & greets new patients and visitors as needed
Answer phones/take messages/transfer calls as needed
Copies & Files records as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year medical front office experience
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Gmail, Outlook, Word and searching online
  • Strong interpersonal communication and multi-tasking skills, ability to meet deadlines
  • Healthy minded individuals with an openness to learn A MUST!
  • Must have a calm but very pleasant nature and work well under high pressure
  • Mature, friendly disposition, organized, detail oriented & positive approach as a team player
  • Full time position $16+ per hour
