Fern and Moss Waxing Studio is a proudly small, locally owned and operated business in Chandler, Arizona. We advocate for professional-quality waxing services performed in small business settings—because that’s how we believe it should be done. I’m the founder, and I’ve held my license for ten years, dedicating my entire career solely to waxing. I’m deeply passionate about what we stand for and proud to offer a space where seasoned professionals can truly thrive and be compensated fairly for their craft.

We currently operate one location in Chandler and are expanding to open our second location in Gilbert. We are looking to hire three new team members to join the Gilbert studio.

Ideally, our team members would work a set 2-3 days per week, ten hour shifts and needs to work one Saturday a month.

Compensation:
40% commission on all waxing services
20% commission on product sales
You keep 100% of your tipsSchedule
Please note these are approximate client-facing business hours. Team members are expected to arrive 30–60 minutes before opening for setup and stay afterward for clean-up.

Mon–Fri: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 20–27 hours on an alternating schedule

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in body waxing (required)
License: Current Arizona cosmetology or esthetician license (required)
Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to Gilbert location
Proficiency: Must be confident and willing to provide both Brazilian (v) and Brazilian (p) services
Duties & Responsibilities

Perform body waxing services with professionalism and care
Educate clients on post-wax care and recommend products
Maintain sanitation standards for all tools and treatment areas
Use salon software (e.g., Square) for scheduling and client management
Participate in product education and retail sales efforts
